Modernism

  1. Victor,

This reminds me of a story, another comment involving Thomas. Sorry! After he died, I was so angry with God. I told the priest I no longer believed. I wouldn't be coming to Mass any more. After chatting for a while the priest gently pointed out that I couldn't be angry with a God that doesn't exist. I replied that I'd see him at Mass on Sunday, as usual!

  2. Thank you Sue ... I understand.

In my case, I continued to believe in God; I just did not want to have anything to do with Him.

    God bless you.

  3. Victor,

Strange how we both, not only believe, but are having lots to do with God. He didn't let us drift away. It takes a lot of suffering to get to the stage of not wanting God in your life any more. Glad you are still here. Praying...

  4. Thank you for your prayers Sue.

We may drift away, for a while, but He has other plans.

    God bless.
